This can be difficult given the complex nature of village operations and accounting requirements. However, we also are interested in providing you an overview of the village&#8217;s finances here to help you understand the fiscal condition of the village.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"title-one\">Annual Budget<\/h2>\n<p>The village\u2019s FY 23\/24 Budget includes total revenues and other financing sources of $312.4 million and total expenditures and other financing uses of $311 million. Revenues and other financing sources are up 10.5% supporting the 11.0% increase in expenditures as compared to the FY 22\/23 Amended Budget. The document meets ADA requirements and was approved by the Village Board on April 25th, 2023.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"list-green mb-3\">\n<li><a href=\"#\">FY 23\/24 Budget<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Previous Annual Budgets<\/p>\n<ul class=\"list-green three-cols mb-3\">\n<li class=\"\"><a href=\"#\">FY 22\/23 Budget<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#\">FY 19\/20 Budget<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#\">FY 16\/17 Budget<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#\">FY 21\/22 Budget<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#\">FY 18\/19 Budget<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#\">FY 15\/16 Budget<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#\">FY 20\/21 Budget<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#\">FY 17\/18 Budget<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#\">FY 14\/15 Budget<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"title-one\">Capital Improvement Plan (CIP)<\/h2>\n<p>Schaumburg&#8217;s Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) is a multiyear plan covering a five year period that helps the village budget for and schedule necessary capital improvement projects. This plan also sets the proposed capital expenditures for the fiscal year budget. The CIP addresses repair and replacement of existing infrastructure as well as the development or acquisition of new facilities, property, improvements and major equipment to accommodate community and organizational needs.<\/p>\n<p>The 23\/24 &#8211; 27\/28 CIP establishes priorities and funding for the village\u2019s capital improvement projects. Of the total $219.3 million five-year plan, the village anticipates securing $52.8 million in grant funding, leaving the village to fund approximately $166.5 million. Broken down by project, the plan allocates 56.6% in funding to roadway improvements, 20.1% to water\/sewer improvements and the remainder to make improvements to village buildings, bikeways, sidewalks, parking lots and other areas.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"list-green mb-3\">\n<li><a href=\"#\">FY 23\/24 &#8211; FY 27\/28 CIP<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A preliminary list of streets to be included in the FY 23\/24 annual street program will be added soon.
