This event was a great success with a total of 207 participants in attendance! This family-friendly bicycle tour included a Police escort when biking along or crossing the street. Following the ride, participants enjoyed a picnic lunch on the municipal center plaza.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"list-green mb-3\">\n<li>This event kicked off at noon on Sunday, June 4, 2023.<\/li>\n<li>This event was FREE and open to the public.<\/li>\n<li>The five-mile ride will began and ended at the Robert O. Atcher Municipal Center located at <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/uQJTazm5F1QduWYWA\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">101 Schaumburg Court.<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Click <a href=\"http:\/\/174.141.233.253\/~villageofschaumb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Fahrrad-Route-Map-2023.pdf\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a> to view the historic route map.<\/li>\n<li>All participants signed a liability waiver prior to departure.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Translated from German to English, Fahrrad Tour von Schaumburg means Bicycle Route Tour of Schaumburg. Celebrate Schaumburg\u2019s heritage and extensive bike route network with this five-mile ride on off-street bike paths and on-street bike lanes.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"card\">\n<div class=\"card-header\" id=\"faqhead2\">\n                            <a href=\"#\" class=\"btn btn-header-link collapsed\" data-toggle=\"collapse\" data-target=\"#faq2\"\n                            aria-expanded=\"true\" aria-controls=\"faq2\">5th Annual Business Bike Classic<\/a>\n                        <\/div>\n<div id=\"faq2\" class=\"collapse\" aria-labelledby=\"faqhead2\" data-parent=\"#faq\">\n<div class=\"card-body\">\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col-12 col-md-6 mb-3\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/174.141.233.253\/~villageofschaumb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Mask-Group-122@2x.png\"><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>To celebrate National Bike Month in June, the Village of Schaumburg is organizing the Business Bike Classic team bicycle challenge.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Business Bike Classic Details:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"list-green mb-3\">\n<li>The contest is open to any business or business organization employing four or more people with a designated workplace in Schaumburg.<\/li>\n<li>Teams of four record their cycling mileage completed during the month of June. Mileage completed on stationary and spinning miles are also eligible.<\/li>\n<li>Each team member is required to sign up for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.strava.com\/clubs\/VOS_2023_BBC\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">2023 Schaumburg Business Bike Classic Strava Club.<\/a> Once your team is registered for the challenge, contestants will receive an invitation via email to join the club. Strava is free to join and it is easy to record, manually input, or import mileage. This program increases accountability for the competition and give riders the opportunity to interact with each other.<\/li>\n<li>Team leaders register their team online through <a href=\"https:\/\/schaumburgil.seamlessdocs.com\/f\/BBC_SIGNUP\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">this registration link.<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Team names must be in good taste and include the name of the agency being represented.<\/li>\n<li>Each team member must sign a <a href=\"https:\/\/schaumburgil.seamlessdocs.com\/f\/2023Waiver\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Waiver of Release<\/a> to participate.<\/li>\n<li>Each Friday in June, team leaders will receive a mileage link to submit their team\u2019s mileage.<\/li>\n<li>Cumulative results will be distributed for teams in the novice, intermediate, and advanced tiers (totaling up to 650 miles, 651-1,500 miles, and 1,501+ miles, respectively).<\/li>\n<li>The top teams and individuals in each tier will win prizes and be recognized on the village\u2019s communication channels. The team with the most completed miles in the entire competition will be awarded the traveling Business Bike Classic trophy at the July 11th Village Board Meeting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Questions?
