Village President Tom Dailly
The Village President (Mayor) is elected to a four-year term and presides over the Board of Trustees. Tom Dailly is the chairperson for the Village Board meetings and the Committee of the Whole meetings. Tom Dailly’s current term expires in May 2027.

Trustees
Six Trustees serve four-year, staggered terms with half of the board up for election every two years.
Trustee Brian Bieschke
Trustee Bieschke served on a number of village committees including the Environmental Committee, Plan Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals before being elected to village trustee in April 2019. Trustee Bieschke is the Chairperson of the Transportation Committee, is a member of the Finance, Legal, Administration, General Government (FLAGG) Committee, and is a member of the Engineering & Public Works Committee. Trustee Bieschke’s current term expires in May 2027.

Trustee George Dunham
Trustee Dunham was a founder of the Lexington Fields South Homeowner’s Association in 1979 and later served as its President and as a Director. He served on Ad-Hoc Committees on Residential Development in 1983 and 2002, and was appointed to the Schaumburg Business Development Commission in 1986 where he continues to serve as an ex-officio member. He served on the Schaumburg Plan Commission from 1989 to 1991 when he was elected Village Trustee. He also served on the Illinois International Convention Center Authority for three years from 1993 to 1996 and on the Schaumburg Regional Airport Advisory Commission since 1997. Mr. Dunham is the Chairperson of the Finance, Legal, Administration, General Government (FLAGG) Committee, is a member of the Public Safety Committee, and is a member of the Planning, Building, and Development (PBD) Committee. As Senior Trustee, Trustee Dunham chairs Coffee with the Council. His current term expires in May 2027.

Trustee Mark Madej
Trustee Madej served four years on the Septemberfest Committee from 2001 to 2005. He was appointed as Trustee in 2005. He was first elected as a Trustee in 2007. Mr. Madej is the Chairperson of the Engineering & Public Works Committee, is a member of the Transportation Committee, and is a member of the Health & Human Services Committee. Mr. Madej’s current term expires in May 2027.

Trustee Esha Patel
Trustee Patel served on the Cultural Commission for 1.5 years and has been a resident of Schaumburg since 2008. She was appointed to serve as village trustee, filling a vacancy created by the passing of former village trustee Frank Kozak. Mrs. Patel is the Chairperson of the Heath & Human Services Committee, is a member of the Planning, Building & Development Committee, and is a member of the Engineering & Public Works Committee. Her term as village trustee expires May 2025.

Trustee Jack Sullivan
Trustee Sullivan served for two years on the Olde Schaumburg Centre Commission from 1991 to 1993. He was elected as Trustee on May 1, 1993. Mr. Sullivan is the Chairperson of the Planning, Building, and Development (PBD) Committee, is a member of the Public Safety Committee, and is a member of the Health and Human Services Committee. Mr. Sullivan’s current term expires in May 2025.

Village Clerk
The Village Clerk is elected to a four-year term and is responsible for taking Schaumburg Village Board minutes and maintaining village records. The Clerk also registers voters, administrates absentee voting, receives and certifies candidates’ petitions and referenda questions, is a member of the Electoral Commission, and provides voter information regarding election laws and polling places.
Village Clerk Jane Lentino
Village Clerk Lentino began working for the Village of Schaumburg at the Prairie Center for the Arts as a theatre tech and box office employee in 2000. In 2005, she moved to the Building Division as a Permit Clerk. She later moved to the Village of Carol Stream as the secretary of the Community Development Department and to serve as the recording secretary of the Plan Commission/Zoning Board of Appeals. Since 2020, she has worked as Permit Systems Coordinator for the Village of Carol Stream. Ms. Lentino was elected as Village Clerk in April 2023 and her current term expires in May 2027.
