Schaumburg Helistop

On November 11, 1989, Schaumburg Illinois became the first community in the Chicago area with a public-use helistop. The Schaumburg Municipal Helistop is located at 1050 East American Lane (between Meacham Road and Plum Grove Road, one block south of Golf Road (Illinois Rt. 58)).

There are no fees to use the Helistop, however it is advisable to contact Airport Manager, Airport Manager of the Schaumburg Regional Airport at 847-923-3778 ahead of time so that village staff can track its use.
