Pace Northwest Transportation Map

Pace’s fixed-route bus service conveniently carries commuters throughout the suburbs using a set schedule and routing. With more than 240 fixed routes serving more than 220 communities in the six-county area, Pace provides fast and economical service to employment centers, hospitals, shopping centers, and many other attractions.

Parking at the Northwest Transportation Center

Pace provides additional parking spaces for riders to use when the Northwest Transportation Center lot is full. The southeast section of the parking lot at 1701 Woodfield Road is now free for Pace riders to use. 1701 Woodfield Rd is just northwest of NWTC and vehicles can access it from Mall Dr. When parking at 1701, do not park outside the permitted area in the lot’s southeast corner. To get to the NWTC, a convenient walkway connects to the NWTC.

Riders are also encouraged to consider parking at the new Pace I-90/Barrington Rd Station. The free, 170-space park-n-ride lot is located off Central Rd, just north of I-90 and just east of Barrington Rd. Riders can take Pace Routes 603, 605, and 610 from the station to get to Rosemont Transit Center.

With the addition of the 1701 Woodfield Rd parking and the Pace I-90/Barrington Rd Station, police will begin ticketing vehicles at the NWTC that are parked in No Parking zones, Fire Lanes, and in front of fire hydrants. Please always make sure you are parked in a designated parking stall.

Barrington Road Park and Ride Map

The I-90/Barrington Rd Station includes a 170-space park-n-ride lot and two “inline stations” (one in each direction) which allows express buses to pick up riders without exiting the highway. A pedestrian bridge over the tollway and two tunnels passing beneath ramps allow commuters to access eastbound and westbound buses with ease. The south side of the station features a transfer location to local Pace services. Newly constructed bike paths and sidewalks connect Pace passengers to adjacent jobs and residences. Pace Routes 603, 605, 607 and 610 serve the inline stations.

Pace special event bus service is now located at the Atrium Corporate Center at 3800 Golf Road in Rolling Meadows.

Ride Free or Reduced Fare Permit cards are issued by the RTA. More information can be found on the Senior & Disabled Transportation Services page.
