Harold LaDouler
Lovingly memorialized by Greg Upton on November 7, 2015
It is with sadness in our hearts that we say goodbye to Harold James (Jim) Rustle LaDouler. On the early morning of Saturday November seventh, Harold passed peacefully in his sleep.
Harold was a larger than life character and he could be a bit silly sometimes. He loved taking pictures and being in them, but not as much as he loved his friends. He recently described the last six months as one of the happiest times of his life because he was making so many new friends, many of them on the internet. Thank you to everyone who was kind to him.
Although he always wore that trademark smile, on the inside Harold was suffering in great pain. He was bashful, so he kept it to himself, but in his last will and testament he revealed that he was recently diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer. He was too embarrassed to tell anyone and he didn't want to cause anyone pain, so he hid his pain and continued his daily routine. He suffered in silence so we wouldn't have to. You are in a better place now and never again will you have to hide the pain, Harold. You will never be forgotten. Please consider a small donation to prostate cancer research: https://www.prostatecancer.ca/

Adam Azzaro
Lovingly memorialized by Elle Azzaro on November 5, 2015
Adam was full of life. He loved making others laugh and smile. His hobbies where playing with his guitar, singing, working out, and playing with his niece and nephew. Adam lived life as full as he could. He fought everyday for the ones he loved. He was often the guy who could make us both laugh and cry. Not a day went by where he didn't check to see how our day was, even if he was having a horrible day. Adam was beyond gifted with his words, his writing, his love. He was an old soul, a soldier. Many times he'd do the randomest things to put a smile on your face. He was a jokester with a big heart. All his life he searched for fulfillment, something to complete him. Something to make him feel alive. He found that in music and nature. He got lost in the lyrics and moonlight. It was his serenity. As a kid he'd sit in his room and listen to Nirvana. He was obsessed with Kurt Cobain. As he grew up he always said how Kurt's lyrics were real and he understood why he was in so much pain. His music taste varied once he got his voice. Every song he sang, he sang with passion and pain. Adam used to wake up at 4am just to watch the sunrise. Once it did he'd stay up to watch Spongebob. It was one of his favorite shows. He was still growing up. He lived with the mindset of a solider and the heart of a kid.

Jaclyn Hepworth
Lovingly memorialized by Mindy McCallister on November 1, 2015
Jaclyn “Jackie” Marie Hepworth, 24, of Albers, IL, passed away on October 29th, 2015 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. She was born on March 18th, 1991 in St. Louis, MO to Mike and Duanna Hepworth.
Jackie was an avid lover of sports during her early life and had played softball, basketball, and volleyball. As the years passed we found that Jackie’s true passion was her love for animals. Jackie would go out of her way to help if she knew there was an animal in trouble or hurt. She loved spending time with her friends and was constantly on the go. More than anything, Jackie enjoyed spending time with her family, especially playing with her two nieces Addison (5) and Leighton (4). As described by many of Jackie’s closest friends over the last 24 years of her life, Jackie was truly a bleeding heart. She would give the shirt off of her back and would do anything to help another person out. Her outgoing personality and willing to be-friend anyone, created the beautiful person we all knew and loved. Jackie will be missed dearly by her friends and family left here on Earth, but will always be watching over and protecting us. She would not want us to mourn her death, but celebrate her life. In order to honor that wish for Jackie, the family will be having a private gathering in celebration of her life.
Jackie is survived by her parents Mike and Duanna Hepworth of Albers, IL, her sister Mindy McCallister of Albers, IL, her nieces Addison and Leighton McCallister, her grandfather, John Hepworth of New Baden, IL, and numerous Aunts and Uncles.
Jackie was preceded in death by her sister, Christina Hepworth, her uncle, Todd Hepworth, grandfather, Duane Johnson, and grandmothers, Vera K. Hepworth and Nellie Johnson.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Belleville Humane Society and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Jackie’s honor.

Patricia Koshowsky
Lovingly memorialized by Ann Jensen on October 31, 2015
Patty died peacefully at home after a very extended illness. She was a hard working, stubborn and intense woman who worried and cared for everyone and everything in her life. She was an excellent seamstress in school (Fairfax High School); but not a very good student. She was very popular and liked to dance and go to parties. She loved Frank Sinatra and Clark Gable. She worked at Rexall Drugs, Bank of America and The Broadway over the course of the years; but her main work was always trying to take care of the various members of her family; with or without their cooperation. She was the caretaker for her parents, her husband and her sister through various illnesses and outlived all of them by many many years.
She had a series of dogs during her life that she loved deeply - Amber, Sweetie, Mugs, Butch, Suzie, Ginger, Betsy (her sister's dog that she kept for her). At the end, her companions were her faithful and busy Jack Russell dogs "Dr". Daphne and Zeus. They kept her entertained and were wonderful company for her.
Her primary caretaker for the last many months was Elizabeth (Betsy) Finn, R.N.. She did a remarkable job of doing all of the seemingly impossible tasks that come with nursing someone through the end stages of a disease. She surely was the what Patty had earned with all the care taking she did over the years for others. No one could have asked for more professional or loving care. No family could have asked for better peace of mind and relief after a long illness. Betsy was assisted by our long time family helper, Marlena; who also did a remarkable job of learning nursing skills in quick order to be able to do what needed to be done so we could keep Pat surrounded by familiar faces. We will be forever grateful to the team for what they have done for us.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Robert (Bob) Koshowsky and her sister, Marylou Rambo Rector. She is survived by her daughter, Ann Jensen and her husband, Daniel; as well as her niece, Marybeth Mascal and Marybeth's family: husband Joe, son Michael, daughter Beth and her husband Kenny and their children: Chloe and Jude.
Thanks to everyone for your support and concern over the years.

Joyce Benton
Lovingly memorialized by Desmond Wyrick on October 30, 2015
As I leave my loved ones behind, I ask that you celebrate my life as if I were still with you. Words can't describe the joy I feel and how proud I am of my family. You've grown so much in these long years and I only hope that you continue to grow. I'll be watching as my children and grandchildren journey through life until the day you join me in heaven. Remember that I love you no matter what and you'll always be upmost in my mind and spirit. I love you all.
My condolences to the Benton/Wyrick family may your pain past swiftly and your memories last long.

Lady Veronica Edem (JP), (B.Sc.), (M.Sc.)
Lovingly memorialized by The Edem Family on October 30, 2015
We are utterly devastated by the loss of our Mum, Lady Veronica J. Edem, but we are grateful to God that whilst on earth, she lived an absolutely fantastic, exciting and fulfilling life.
As a teacher, Vice Principal, philanthropist and community leader, Mum's friendly, loving and strong caring character endeared everyone to her. To say that Mum was one of a kind would be an undeniable understatement. The generosity, humour and wisdom she shared are only a few examples of the incredible person she was.
Mum was a devout and charismatic Christian who loved singing. One of her best songs is Above All as done by Women of Faith. She achieved one of the most important goals in her life when she went on pilgrimage to Jerusalem. Whilst there, she walked along the paths that Jesus walked, sailed on the River Jordan, and amongst other faith enriching experiences, visited the tomb where Jesus was buried and resurrected.
Mum, there has not been and there will never be anyone like you. We shall forever cherish the memories of our times with you. We love you and miss you dearly. So, until we meet again at resurrection, may your gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Amen!
Please join us in paying tribute to our dear Mum as we celebrate a life well lived by taking a minute to post a message below. Also if you would like to support or donate to the bereaved family at this challenging time of grief, please click on the tab that says Donate in Memory. God Bless!
