Edilberto Buhisan
Lovingly memorialized by Charmian Buhisan on April 22, 2017
God saw he was getting tired,
And a cure was not to be,
So he put his arms around him,
And whispered "Come with me",
With tearful eyes we watched him suffer,
And saw him fade away,
Although we love him dearly,
We could not make him stay,
A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands to rest,
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best,
Although his heart stopped beating,
His love will always remain,
His absence puts upon our hearts,
A very heavy strain,
For now he is in a place of everlasting rest,
We just have to understand that God,
He only takes the best.

Bill Nelson
Lovingly memorialized by Keely Elizabeth Berg on April 6, 2017
William (Bill) Nelson, 11/8/1954-4/5/2017
Bill loved people- none more than his wife, daughters, and grandkids. Escaping his tales of their perfection was nearly impossible- even for complete strangers. He never left a conversation without an I love you and a hug that lingered for hours- not only because he was so genuine, but also because he routinely used more than the suggested amount of cologne. Anyone who knew him could agree that he had a big heart, and that, in the end, is what unexpectedly took his life.
Bill was a legend in his own right- at least in Ballard, where he spent his whole life. He believed if you couldn’t get it in Ballard, you didn’t need it. He took fashion cues from no one. He felt Levis were appropriate for all occasions, shirts were optional and Pooka shells pulled any outfit together. His favorite past times included yelling at the refs through the TV, giving unsolicited advice, and fixing any broken item, MacGyver style, with nothing more than epoxy and zip ties.
His heaven was Camano Island, where he spent hours raking the beach, fishing with his grandkids, and telling stories by the fire about the “roads we walk in life.” He is survived by his wife Linda, his daughter Keely (Chris), daughter Ashley (Chris) and alleged “favorite daughter” Chelsey. He leaves behind his mother Bea, 2 brothers and 3 sisters. He will live on forever as a superhero to his pride and joy- his 4 grandchildren- Annabelle, Hunter, Carter & Andrew.
