He was a Contractor, Carpenter, Musician, Singer and Songwriter
He has 3 Sons Timothy, Kenneth and Brian and a Daughter Rhonda Lynn.
2 Brothers Donald (Cathy), Dennis and 5 Sisters, Janie, Doris (Gary), Norma (Tom),
Cathy and Ronda.
He has many loving Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, extended family and many, many Friends
who will miss him dearly.

Sandy Rae Horton

Sandy Rae was born on April 26, 1960 in Milwakuee, Wisconsin to the late Luke and Minnie Horton. He departed from his life in the comfort of his home. Sandy Rae Horton excepted Christ as a teenager. Though he didn't finish high school, he was a big help to his mom after the death of his father. After his mom died, he decided it would be best that he continue to help people. At the age of thirty, he was diagnosed with liver cancer but that didn't stop him nor his passion to help people. Sandy left behind no children, one brother ( Bobby Lee Horton), two niece, three aunts, four uncles, a bandwagon of cousins and friends. After twenty five years, Sandy Rae lost his battle to liver cancer at the age of 55.

Donald Bellanger

Donald Edward Bellanger, of Stuyvesant NY, went to be with his Lord at his home on Jun 18, 2015 after bravely battling against bladder cancer complicated by kidney failure. He was born in West Springfield, MA on Sep 19, 1932 to the late John and Grace (Gladden) Bellanger.
Donald served in the US Army in Korea and Japan from Jan 1956 to Oct 1957. He married the love of his life, Joan Ann Dixon, daughter of Gerald and Ella (Graf) Dixon, 56 years ago on Feb 26, 1959 in Albany, NY. They renewed their vows before God on their 25th anniversary. They moved to Stuyvesant, NY in 1964, where they raised their 4 daughters. While their children were growing up, the family camped every summer throughout the northeastern US and Canada.
Donald enjoyed bowling in the Rensselaer County Commercial Bowling League where he was the secretary/treasurer for many years. He worked as a needle felt machine operator for Huyck Felt Co. for 30 years. He then worked for Sterling Winthrop and Anderson Equipment. During their retirement years, Donald and Joan toured the US and Canada in their motor home, working as volunteers in various National Parks and Wildlife Refuges where he was fondly known as “Ranger Don”.
Besides his loving and devoted wife, Donald is survived by his daughters Terri Bellanger, Donna Gleason, Joie DeFayette, and Brenda (Tim) Embry. He was Peepa to Brian “BJ” (Jessica) Gleason; TJ, Leighanna, and Rebecca Embry; and Nathan, Jared, and Owen DeFayette. He is also survived by his brother, Ralph (Rose) Bellanger; his sister, Beverly “Susie” LaFleur (Ken) Hulsopple, and his sisters in law, Jean Bellanger and Hellen Bellanger. He was predeceased by his brothers, John, Robert and Richard Bellanger and his son-in-law, Jim DeFayette.
A memorial service will be held at the New Comer Funeral Home at 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY on Friday, June 26, 2015. Calling hours are from 5pm to 7pm followed by a short service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Donald Bellanger to Columbia Greene Dialysis Center, 2 Sherman Potts Drive, Ghent NY 12075.
