Jim loved all things automotive. His life's passion was building hot rods, cruising, racing, and showing his beloved vehicles. He was a skilled body man, fabricator, painter, welder and glass cutter. He earned his A.S.E. Master Technician certification in auto body, frame and paint. He shared his knowledge with many whom he mentored. He always worked in the industry in Lane County either in collision repair or custom restorations. He owned several shops including Joranger's Old Fashion Body Service, Joranger's Metal Laundry and Jimmy J's Rods and Trucks.
In 2002 he was recruited to become an instructor at Wyotech University in Laramie Wyoming. He taught courses on Chassis Fabrication, High-performance Engines, and Street Rod and Custom Fabrication. While there, he earned his Bachelor's degree in Education Technology.
Jim courageously battled metastatic prostate cancer for almost 6 years. He was an inspiration to all who knew him during his fight. His humor, positive attitude, huge heart and love for life enabled him to keep going. Praise God for Jim's salvation. He was baptized in March of this year. He leaves a legacy of integrity, perseverance, strength, compassion and unending love. He will be so dearly missed. We will meet again in Heaven.

THOMAS WIGGINS
Lovingly memorialized by SHAYLA WILLIIAMS on June 27, 2015
To Thomas(Bigman) with love
I’m trying to find the right words to say,
A tribute to my son Thomas, on his funeral day.
Even though each word is splashed with tears,
Because Thomas leaving us, was all our worst fears.
From the day you were born, my beautiful son,
I held you close until your crying was done.
You grew up so happily, always a smile.
It’s easier to think you’ve only gone for a while.
As the eldest son you‘d put your arm around your brother,
With a heart full of love for your son, wife, father and mother.
It’s hard to accept that you are no longer here
Thomas, my beautiful boy, you were amazing it’s clear.
You are locked in my heart and I am saving the key,
To one day open it, when my soul is set free.
The pain is hard to bear now you’ve gone away,
I will love you forever.....what else can I say...
Bless you Thomas (Bigman). Rest in peace, my boy.
