Margaret Bloss
Lovingly memorialized by pamela deneve on November 5, 2020
Margaret was born in Stoke on Trent and was sister to Cyril, Reg and Len, all of whom predeceased her. She grew up in the Potteries, where she met Ron Collier. They were married and eventually moved to Crewe, where they raised their four children, Jill, Roger, Geoff and Pam.
Margaret loved to be involved with local groups and organisations. She was an active member of the Parent Teachers Association. Over the years she has belonged to the U3A, Townswomen’s Guild, over 45’s and latterly, the local History Group.
Gardening and photography were two of her biggest loves. Her gardens were often admired and she loved to travel around the UK visiting many of the beautiful public gardens.
Unfortunately, Margaret was widowed at 47. She did however go on later in life to find happiness again with Tony Bloss, with whom she was married, until his untimely death just a few years after they found each other.
Margaret had been living with Cancer for 10 years and managed to keep active for the most part, with help from Family and neighbors and friends. A big thank you to the staff at the Leighton Hospital Macmillan Centre who have been supportive throughout. This year, however, was a challenge. It is a testament to her character that despite a broken hip and Covid she made it to 88 years before succumbing. RIP Mum.

Joyce Alice Acii
Lovingly memorialized by Moses Sikhu on October 30, 2020
To best describe my mother, i will borrow these words from elsewhere;
Mum was that woman who was able to stand up for herself. She did not need to hide behind anyone. She believed that if you have problems, as a woman you deal with them, you don't play victim, you don't make yourself look pitiful, you don't point fingers. You stand and you deal. You face the world with a head held high and you carry the universe in your heart!
There are simply so many ways to describe mum yet they are also not enough to describe the worthy person that she was to those that knew her.
Mum was that special woman who sacrificed many precious moments in her life, so that we could have them in ours; and i am not just talking of her children but even those who she took under her wing and raised them as her own.
Forever we shall be grateful that we had an Angel that was sent to us in form of our mother.
You were always happy even in pain and you were strong in all challenges including in facing the cancer that afflicted you. In all moments, you always smiled and wanted all around you to be as happy and cheerful.
Your grand children still yearn for your presence because with you, they knew life was beautiful.
You are Always Loved; Never Forgotten; Forever Missed.
Mum's life journey can be summed up in this verse;
“Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.”
Proverbs 3: 17

Levi Kendrick Fereira
Lovingly memorialized by Jessica Fereira on October 29, 2020
Levi has several meanings but Hero is the one that stands out to us. He was our Hero in so many ways. The doctors did not have much hope but his parents did. They were told prior to birth that he may not have fully developed lungs on top of his kidney diagnosis, and that his survival was uncertain. What they didn’t know was how many people were in his corner and how many prayers were being lifted for our Levi. He had so many cheerleaders before he was born. His birth was a miracle and the doctors were amazed. He worked through so much adversity and always prevailed. From the day he arrived he taught our family what true stength was. His smile would light up a room. No matter what was happening in his life he would always find a way to smile. He was so strong. What a joy he was to have in our family and we are all better because of him. To know him was to love him. This is going to be hard but although we are so sad, we are extremely grateful for the time we had. We were able to love him and kiss and hug him for 16 months. He had alot of struggles and a rough road ahead of him so God decided it was his time. Our hearts are broken but our faith is not. We know he is in the best place and was greeted in heaven by his grandparents. Thank you Levi for letting us all love you and teaching us so much in the time you spent with us. You were and will always be our joy!
For those of you who would like to show love to the family we have something really special planned. In Lieu of flowers we have set up a venmo account to start a fund to create something very special for the Fereira family. We will be working with Externeva to create a diamond out of Levi’s ashes. A ring will be designed for Jessica and a cross for Kendrick to keep him close to them always. We want to memorialize him in the best way and make sure that he stays close to mommy and daddy forever. He will always be with them.
Thank you so much for the support and well wishes.

Mother, CHIU Yim Hung (趙艶红), age 93, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2020 at Yan Chai Hospital, Hong Kong. She was born in Hong Kong on June 17, 1927. Her father CHIU Sin (趙善) died young. She was then brought up with her elder brother CHIU Yu Chiang (趙汝長) by grandmother SO Yu Yuen (蘇雨願). Mother married young to father, CHAN Pak Yan (陳伯忍) and raised a family with six sons and two daughters.
During her lifetime, mother was brave and smart. She took up responsibility after father’s early death at age 47 on February 18, 1970 and successfully brought up eight children with the help from grandmother.
Mother was strong and had guided the family through adversities, tackled challenges throughout her lifetime. To support our family during the adverse economic period, mother brought factory materials home for processing so that she could provide the best care for her children whilst working. Mother did not have the chance for formal education because of poverty, so she treasured the importance of education very much and guided her children to study hard and emphasized the importance of integrity and self-reliance.
Mother always kept herself up to date on current affairs through reading newspaper and magazines. When she was in her fifties, she applied her self-learned knowledge on investment and started to make better income through property investment and in foreign exchange market. At the age of 74, mother received a Gold Prize Certificate in IT Awareness from a program organized by the Information Technology Services Department.
Mother enjoyed morning mountain walks and at her older age doing exercises in the club house’s gymnasium. But her greatest joys were when attending gatherings with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and knowing their accomplishments. She was admired by many to be able to raise her many children into responsible adults, contributing to society despite all the adversities.
Mother is dearly loved and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her children and grandchildren and their spouses as well as great grandchildren whom she loved and touched deeply:

Linda Harvey
Lovingly memorialized by Caroline Droege on October 7, 2020
On the 24th of September, 2020, after a long illness, Linda Kay (True) Harvey was found to have passed on and transitioned to a new dimension. She was preceded in death by her Mother, Arleen Kay, and her Father, James Allen True.
Cause of death was determined to be Congestive Heart Failure, which had caused her extended illness.
Linda, known as Lyndee to many of her friends, left behind her beloved Dachshund dog, Bailey, 8 siblings, as well as many friends both within and outside the LGBTQ+ community.
Linda worked the last 16+ years as a caregiver with Beneficial Health Services. She shared herself and her compassion with all the elders she cared for and served. Although she was unable to work since June 2019 due to her health issues, she will long be remembered at Beneficial.
Linda was a community minded person who actively sought to help those less fortunate than herself, or anyone in need. For many years she was a volunteer, helping with holiday food boxes, and yearlong fundraising with the Imperial Sovereign Court of Spokane. Throughout her time as a volunteer, Linda was recognized with many awards, plaques and gifts in appreciation for her hard work.
It is with great sadness, we set Linda to rest.
Due to the length of her illness, there are few resources or assets to accommodate the needs that accompany her death. Although her family has many riches of intrinsic value, the financial means to take care of Linda's final expenses are very limited, if at all available.
We have need to request that any friends or family with the ability, as guided by your heart, to express their love of Linda by donating to her final expenses.
Donations can be made directly toward her cremation costs with Spokane Cremation & Funeral Service by calling 509-324-9375 and referencing Linda K. Harvey. You may also donate to the family for the other expenses that accompany her transition, ie death certificates, obituaries, etc. through Paypal, paypal.me/sasswilly. All donations will go initially towards her cremation costs then to remaining expenses involved in finalizing Linda's life here with us.
May she rest in peace. She will be missed.
