In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Never Say Never Foundation at www.neversayneverfoundation.org.
The Never Say Never Foundation is a non profit organization that was formed to help disabled youth overcome adversity with a positive attitude. Olean was able to meet one of the co-founders of the Never Say Never Foundation this past May and was very excited about the good things they are doing. They focus on helping children become involved in athletics by providing them with the specialty prosthetics that are not covered by their insurance. Last year at their biggest event, Pirate Camp, The Never Say Never Foundation was able to provide specialty running blades to several children who attended Pirate Camp. It would be a great tribute to Olean if we are able to have a total of $2500 dollars donated in her memory, as this is the cost to send a family of four to Pirate Camp in Clearwater, FL October 22-25. At Pirate Camp, children and their families participate in all variety of aquatic activities, such as sailing, kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing while staying at one of Florida's most beautiful beaches, all at no cost to the family. Even better would be to raise $5,000 which would provide one child with a new running blade.

Erika Gauthier

Lovingly memorialized by Lyne Gauthier on September 5, 2015

This memorial website was created in the memory of our beloved Erika Gauthier who was born in Laval, Quebec on 10th November 1985 and passed away on 2nd September 2015, 29 years of age.

When I come to the end of my journey
And I travel my last weary mile
Just forget if you can, that I ever frowned
And remember only the smile

Forget unkind words I have spoken
Remember some good I have done
Forget that I ever had heartache
And remember I've had loads of fun

Forget that I've stumbled and blundered
And sometimes fell by the way
Remember I have fought some hard battles
And won, ere the close of the day

Then forget to grieve for my going
I would not have you sad for a day
But in summer just gather some flowers
And remember the place where I lay

And come in the shade of evening
When the sun paints the sky in the west
Stand for a few moments beside me
And remember only my best

After a fatal car accident, our beloved girl slipped away to the other side, surrounded by her loving family. Her angel wings were granted to her Wednesday morning. Her life was short, but she touched the hearts of every person around her. Her precious remains will be under her mother's care as Erika always wished. Visitation will be every Sunday, at the Eglise Nouvelle Vie. Everyone is welcome to come and pay their respects.

Roger Anderson

Lovingly memorialized by Rebecca Anderson on September 4, 2015

Roger M. Anderson, Jr., 63, of Hubbardston, MA passed away on September 1, 2015 after a short but courageous battle with cancer. He passed peacefully in his daughter’s home with daughters Kristen and Rebecca at his side. He was born in January 1952 in Worcester, MA to Roger and Phyllis Anderson.

Roger was preceded in death by his father Roger M. Anderson, Sr. and his wife Margaret Newsham. Roger is survived by his mother Phyllis Anderson of Oxford, MA; his daughters Kristen Kelley and her husband Parrish of Gardner, MA, Rebecca Anderson and her significant other Paul Adkins of Ware, MA and Lisa Disney-Lapensohn of TX; his stepson Nathan Newsham and his wife Connie of Cumberland, MD; his brother Scott Anderson (Theresia Anderson); his sister Carol Gordon (Earl Gordon) of Worcester, MA; eleven grandchildren: Rachelle, Lance, Christopher, Caitlynn, Lexi, Jonathon, Bentli, Camille, Anthony, Samantha, and Ashlee; his close friend Barbara Howarth of Westminster, MA; one niece, one nephew, and other relatives.

Roger grew up in Oxford, MA. He graduated from Oxford High School in 1969. After high school hejoined the United States Air Force in 1969 and served for 4 years. Following his time in the service Roger continued his education by completing vocational training in the area of machine mechanics. Over the years he shared his mechanical expertise with local companies such as Weetabix and Norton before retiring in 2004.

Nearly every weekend in the mid to late nineties, Roger would be found in Epping, NH racing his 1968 Mercury Cougar named CATSAS down the ¼ mile track with Team Cougar (his wife, children, and grandchildren) in the stands. There was rarely a day you would not find Roger in his garage tinkering with one of his classic hot rods. On a beautifully clear day he would be found cruising through town on his Harley. Many days were spent enjoying his grandchildren. He had extraordinary love and compassion for his best pal Jake and all other animals.

A private graveside memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, 424 E. 92nd Street, New York, NY 10128-6804.

Robert Hillman

Lovingly memorialized by Jennifer Hillman on September 3, 2015

This memorial was created in honor of Husband, Father, Grandpa and Coach Robert Hillman of Placentia, California. After battling a debilitating disease for over 15 years, Bob is finally at peace. The Hillman family has always preferred laughter over tears, so with this in mind, we'd love for you to share your favorite memories, condolences, pictures and thoughts with us. We appreciate your kindness and thank you for all of your support.

Sincerely,

Sue, Matt, Chris, Sara and their families

P.S. Coach Bob Hillman was a HUGE fan of Coach Bobby Knight. If you have a Hillman sense of humor, please enjoy the video on the right. And, if you don't, as Bob Hillman would have said, "You'll get over it."
