It is with extreme sadness that I am notifying you that our colleague, Richard A. Zorab, the Academy's Vice President for Clinical Education passed away today.
As you know, Richard has spent the past 12 years driving great innovation in our clinical education efforts. Among his many achievements is creating new vehicles for the Academy to deliver its clinical content, including overseeing the launch and worldwide growth of the Ophthalmic News and Education Network.
His efforts were recognized yesterday during the Opening Session of AAO 2014.
