Deanna Schmidt
Lovingly memorialized by Alisha Rosenof on October 1, 2016
Having lived a short, but spirited life, Deanna was surrounded by loving family and friends at the time of her passing. Deanna always danced to the beat of her own drum and was a free spirit that lived in the moment. She enjoyed listening to loud music and always managed to sing along even louder. Her smile stretched from ear to ear and brought a special light to her eyes, brightening the entire room in turn.
Deanna is survived by her husband, James Schmidt; two daughters, Alisha Rosenof and Megan Schmidt; son, James Schmidt, Jr.; stepdaughter Jessica Schmidt and stepson Trevor Schmidt; mother, Patricia Peppard; two brothers, Vernon Braswell, Jr. and Brian Braswell; one grandson, Derek Keith; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Deanna was preceded in death by her father, Vernon Braswell.
There will be a wake held in her memory at the family home on Saturday, October 8, 2016, from 2pm to 6pm at 4700 W. Mars St, Tucson, AZ 85741.

Samson Campbell
Lovingly memorialized by Jesse/Ruby Woolfolk on September 29, 2016
It was during Sam's last year of high school that the word of Jehovah was introduced to him by one of Jehovah's Witnesses. This ignited a fiery zeal within Sam and an unwavering commitment to his ministry that continued until his final breath.
Sam was preceded in death by his parents Samson, Sr. & Mabel Campbell, two wives Ruth Simmons & Evern Campbell; sisters Maggia Elizabeth, Dorothy Louis & Juanita Campbell, and step-daughter Linda Strachan-Mosley & step-granddaughter Lauren Mosley. His wife Betty Campbell survives Samson along with siblings William Campbell, Esther May Campbell, Henrietta Barnes, Robert Troy Campbell and James Campbell. Samson also leaves behind to cherish his memory children Samson III, Tony Ladell, Juan Pierre Campbell and his step-daughters Alsia Desiree Strachan-Wilson & Laurette Elizabeth Levy, their grandmother and Sam's cherished friend Ivy Capron; 17 grandchildren, & an affectionate host of nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, other relatives & friends.
Few words can describe the immense feeling of loss among Sam's physical & spiritual family. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, having served as an elder for about 50 years Sam was known for his strong faith & devotion to Jehovah. He was an excellent speaker who encouraged many through use of the scriptures. He was a man of strong principles and character, a hard worker, someone who would lend a helping hand to those in need, an avid music lover, a man of knowledge, wise counsel, and occasional dry humor. Sam was loved, respected & admired by many & strove to encourage everyone to be better.
Sam was well known for following Jesus' example by preaching from door-to-door to find those who might be interested in studying the Bible (Matthew 24:14) His family finds comfort in the fact that Sam was a firm believer in the resurrection hope (John 11:25). Sam truly believed that if he should pass away, he would be resurrected into a paradise earth free of sickness & death. (Revelation21:4,5)
