Jack Park
Lovingly memorialized by Kate Park on June 11, 2015
Jack was a kind and loving brother to all his sisters and also to his brothers in law Michael and Sandro. He loved his many nieces and nephews and was always happy to spend quality time with them. Jack enjoyed walking, reading and watching his favourite films from his vast collection of DVDs.
Whenever his sisters needed his help he was always willing to lend a helping hand and was always there for them in times of need. He was the only son of the late Michael Park and Lily McLauchlin.
Jack often helped his sister Flo with little odd jobs that she needed help with, and he was always there to wash her windows for her.
Jack went most mornings to his sister Lorraine's for a cup of tea and they would spend time chatting about everyday things and playing with Lorraine's two cats.
Jack's death has left a great void in the family and he will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
He will always be the hearts of those who loved and respected him and forever in the hearts of his 6 sisters.
He has joined his mum and dad who were waiting at the gates of heaven to welcome him with open arms.
Jack you will be forever in our hearts.
We dedicate this prayer to our Brother Jack.
God looked around His garden
And found an empty place.
He then looked down upon the earth
And saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you
And lifted you to rest.
God’s garden must be beautiful
He always takes the best.
He saw the road was getting rough
And the hills were hard to climb,
So He closed your weary eyelids
And whispered "Peace be thine".
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you didn’t go alone,
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
