The Story

Montgomery (Monty) Allan Johnson 68 Passed away after a long battle with cancer with his loving wife Kim by his side.
Monty was a lifelong Ironworker with the local 771 International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental and Reinforcing Iron Workers in Saskatchewan Canada retiring after 43 years of service in 2008.
Monty was preceded in death by his parents Lucy (Roulston) and Donovan Johnson and his late wife Patricia.
He is survived By wife Kim Wright-Johnson, Children Derek Johnson, Tyler Johnson and Belinda Wright, Brother Arnold Johnson (Janice), Sister Correen Hackl (Ken) and many Aunt's, Uncle's, Nieces, Nephews and cousins.
Monty's love of life was pure and simple his Faith in God, A heart of full of love for his family and friends, he could walk into a room and fill it with laughter and music, you could always count on him to be there to lend a hand with anything you needed he will be missed so much by those whose live's he touched.
The Family would like to Thank Foothills Country Hospice in Alberta, Canada and Lifecare Hospice in Stanberry, Missouri for all their support during his illness their care and compassion will never be forgotten.

I am honored to have known Monty from afar. Many late nights spent at the campfire laughing, listening to DJ Monty spin tunes per request. I remember many parties we held, virtual dancing, sharing daily thoughts and getting to know our little family. Monty was always the one I turned to for advice and he gave it whether or not I wanted to hear it. He will be forever remembered and missed greatly. I am thankful for walking into that campfire room and meeting him, Kimmy, and the rest of our bunch I proudly call family. Rest in Peace my friend.
