The Story
To best describe my mother, i will borrow these words from elsewhere;
Mum was that woman who was able to stand up for herself. She did not need to hide behind anyone. She believed that if you have problems, as a woman you deal with them, you don't play victim, you don't make yourself look pitiful, you don't point fingers. You stand and you deal. You face the world with a head held high and you carry the universe in your heart!
There are simply so many ways to describe mum yet they are also not enough to describe the worthy person that she was to those that knew her.
Mum was that special woman who sacrificed many precious moments in her life, so that we could have them in ours; and i am not just talking of her children but even those who she took under her wing and raised them as her own.
Forever we shall be grateful that we had an Angel that was sent to us in form of our mother.
You were always happy even in pain and you were strong in all challenges including in facing the cancer that afflicted you. In all moments, you always smiled and wanted all around you to be as happy and cheerful.
Your grand children still yearn for your presence because with you, they knew life was beautiful.
You are Always Loved; Never Forgotten; Forever Missed.
Mum's life journey can be summed up in this verse;
“Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.”
Proverbs 3: 17
Joyce, you will always be remembered by many as the kindest loving person. You will missed by us all.
