The Story
John William "Bill" Rysedorph Sr. passed away April 25, 2015 at St.Peter's Hospital in Albany NY. He was the oldest of six children by the late John D. and Edna M. Walker-Rysedorph. Survived by his sisters: Carol, Susan, Nancy and Robin. Also survived by his brother: James. Bill served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He also was the Commander in Cheif for some time of The Noble Callahan Post in Troy NY for whom he carried the American Flag proudly for. He was self employed for 40 years installing floors or laying carpets. Bill was an outdoors man whom enjoyed going up to Rouses Point, Lake Champlain fishing and camping. He was married to the late Beverly Mae Millard Rysedorph for 28 years with whom he had four children that he is survived by: Beverly Jean, John"Billy" Jr., Diana and Debby. He is survived by 9 grandchildren: Tabatha, Sabrina, Crystal, Jenna, Jack, Heidi, Harry, Bobby and Kevin. Also survived by several great grandchildren. Pop-Pop, we all love you so much. We will miss hugging you, seeing those handsome blue eyes and that smile. You always looked so handsome and smelled so good. You will forever live on through us and in our hearts. So proud to carry your name.
