The Story
Beloved husband of Dorothy for 64 years. Dear father of sons Thomas (Sandy), John (Sue),and Daniel Holman; and daughter Mary Jo (Holman) Blasius. Adored grandfather of 10. Born in Des Moines, Iowa in 1923 he moved to Detroit as a teenager and proudly served in the Navy during WW2. After working 38 years at Chrysler, he enjoyed 33 years of retirement in Northville, Michigan and his summer home in East Hampton, NY. In his free time he loved wood working, building model homes, traveling, and enjoying a sail on his beloved boat, 'The Sea Queen'. He was also an avid car enthusiast. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. John Lutheran Church (246 Benjamin St. Romeo, MI 48065)
