Service Details
Iris’s family would like to thank everyone for their kind thoughts and prayers in this difficult time. The family has decided to dedicate this online memorial in her honor and has begun the process of requesting a plot in a national cemetery. A ceremony will be held, when it becomes possible, to inter both Iris and Mike’s urns there together forever. This was Iris’s final wish.
In lieu of an in-person service, the family requests that you take time with your loved ones to not only celebrate and honor Iris’s life but to celebrate the precious time you have with those still living in whatever way will be most meaningful to you.
In lieu of flowers, please feel free to donate to Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child in Iris’s honor.
The Story
On September 13, 2022, Iris Hall got her angel wings at the age of 67.
Born to parents Mildred and Harold, Iris grew up in Florida with her 5 brothers and sisters. She loved the warm weather and cherished the times when she would get to go to the beach.
Iris married the love of her life, Mike Hall, who predeceased her. Iris and Mike were married for 44 years. They both enjoyed traveling and explored much of the U.S. and Europe together. At home, Iris and Mike were very involved in their church and community. Iris’s favorite charity was Operation Christmas Child. She would work tirelessly all year to create hundreds of gifts for children around the world.
Iris was well educated and held a Bachelors degree in Business. She was also a prolific artist in many mediums including drawing, wire, and sculpture.
Iris loved her family, her dear friends, and most of all, her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. May she rest now in peace in heaven with her husband and loved ones that have passed before her, as her work here on earth is done.
