Geraldine age 13 months was sadly murdered by serial killer John Reginald Halliday Christie. Her mother Beryl was murdered two days prior by strangulation. Her father Timothy Evans stated to the police that he killed his wife (even though he was in Wales visiting his relatives when the killing happened, his wife was in their apartment in London) but then he was told he murdered his child as well. Tim stated he didn't know anything about his daughter being killed. Later after his trial Tim was executed by hanging in a room, being masked in 1950. Later that time, Christie went killed another unmarried woman (he killed two before Beryl Evans) then he murdered his own wife Ethel. He testified that he was responsible for Beryl Evans' murder but he never told the police anything about what he did to Geraldine. Reports said he could have strangled her with Tim Evan's tie while she was crying in the middle of the night. Christie was executed in 1953.

The Story

1. Parents were born in Wales.
2. There was a movie made in 1971 about serial killer Christie himself. But there were some errors.
(when the family moved to Rillington Place, Geraldine was not born in that time)
3. Beryl Evans became pregnant again and wanted abortion (which in England that was illegal) because she was afraid they would have no money to provide for another child after she had Geraldine.
4. Tim Evans did become violent to his wife because he disagreed with his wife. He was not educated. He didn't know how to read.
