Service Details
We invite everyone to honor and remember Gerry on Monday, April 17, 2017 at St. Gerald Catholic Church in Farmington, Michigan (21300 Farmington Rd, Farmington, MI 48336). Visitations begin at St. Gerald at 10:15 a.m. followed by an 11:00 a.m. memorial mass. All are welcome to continue the celebration of his life at the luncheon afterward hosted by the Italian American Club in Livonia, Michigan (39200 Five Mile Road, Livonia, MI 48154).
The Story
This memorial was created in honor of Gerald "Gerry" Henry Makowski of Farmington Hills, Michigan. Gerry was the beloved husband to Margaret, brother to Henrietta (Carlos Romero), father to Sandy Longnecker and Lisa Tinsman (Jeff) and grandfather to Ally, Danny, Maren, Alina and Deanna. Gerry was born on December 4, 1937 and grew up in Hamtramck. He passed away on April 5, 2017. Gerry was loved by many and will be dearly missed by all friends and family.
