Cyndi was born in Atlanta, Georgia on July 28th, 1969. She graduated from Lewisville High School in 1987 and attended the University of North Texas. She worked as a flight attendant for Southwest Airlines following college. She married Jeffrey Crook on November 14, 1992. Together they welcomed 4 sons into their family who were the most important part of her life.
Cyndi was a special person with a passionate zeal for life and a legendary sense of humor. She never encountered a stranger and was a special friend to everyone who knew her. Her passionate love of all animals especially cats, dogs, and horses was well known. Cyndi took great pride in her sons’ scholastic accomplishments and raised them along with Jeff to be polite, kind, and caring individuals. She will be deeply missed by her friends, family, and all who knew her. Heaven is surely a little brighter now that Cyndi’s beautiful spirit is there.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to either the Cyndi Crook’s Family Support Fund at https://www.gofundme.com/CyndiCrook that will help alleviate the financial strain of medical bills and help Jeff with supporting the boys through this life changing adjustment for their family or donate to The University of Michigan C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital-Congenital Heart Program (givetomott.org).
I worked with Cyndi, and the first time we met and every day after she made me feel like we were best friends. I will never forget the hug she gave me the last time I saw her. She will definitely be missed. Heaven is most certainly a better place because of her. It is not Goodbye- it's Until we meet again.
