Born in Bjuv, Sweden. Boarded Titanic as 3rd class from Southampton, England to rejoin their father in Chicago along with his mother, older sister Torborg (8) and younger siblings Stina (3) and Gosta (2). On the night of April 14th at 11:40 PM Titanic struck an iceberg in the middle of the North Atlantic. For Alma Palsson the collision didn't seem serious. She took her time dressing her children until all lifeboats were being used and the ship was starting to go down. The family with the help of a Swedish passenger made it to the top deck and were last seen on the forward wall deck. Only Alma Palsson's body was recovered.
