Service Details

Visitation is 1 hour prior to the service. Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 30,2017 at Holly Hill Funeral Home. Graveside committal will be immediately following the service.

The Story

Larry was survived by: Two brothers, his children Brenda(Jimmie) Woodruff, Bobby Fife, Greg(Christine) Fife. Grandchildren: Carrie Fife, JD(Holliee) Woodruff, Jason(Jenny) Woodruff, Shannon(Kyle)Simmons, Brandon Fife. Great Grandchildren: Hope, Faith, Jasper, Houston, Landon.

This memorial site was created in the memory of our beloved Larry Fife who was born in Rome, GA on 20th February 1943 and passed away on 26th December 2017, 74 years of age.

Larry was truly a self-made man - he started working at the age of 11 and was out on his own at the age of 14 married. He married Carol Ellis at the age of 17 and she was the love of his life, they were married 54 years, 7 months, and 4 days as he proudly stated to many. He started Larry Fife Drywall in 1972, that business became Fife Enterprises, Inc. in 1980. He was passionate about BBQ competitions, NASCAR and watching his youngest son compete in dirt track racing. He loved is children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren deeply. He will be deeply missed and loved forever!
