Michael passed away Sunday March 26th surrounded by family in his home in Salem, OR. Michael was born on December 31st 1962 in Sacramento, CA and was the fourth of five children. Michael attended South Salem High School and was an avid wrestler, even making Varsity his freshman year. At the age of 22 Michael married Kimberly Thomas, about two years after that they welcomed daughter Chelsea and two years later son Ryan. He spent most of his life working in Retail Management and even owned his own Fiberglass repair business, he always worked magic at any job that he did. With many years of medical issues involving his heart Michael was very blessed to receive a Heart transplant on 03/25/2011, for which he has always been so grateful to the donor and donors family. Receiving such a precious gift of life meant more time with his family, which he valued very dearly. One day after Mikes 6 year anniversary of receiving his new heart he lost his battle and passed away from his body rejecting the heart. Mike loved many things in life, his family, dirt bike, collections of so many different things, as well as his love for shooting guns.
