The Story

Jason R. Doyl, 29, of Spokane, passed away May 9, 2016. He was born May 3, 1987 in Spokane, WA. The son of Russell and Cindy Doyl. He graduated from Joel E. Ferris High School in 2005. He was currently enrolled at Spokane Falls Community College.

Jason had a passion for young people and for athletics, which he combined by coaching. He formed and coached an AAU Basketball for at risk youth. The youth really looked up to him. He had a wry sense of humor and a caring heart. Since graduating high school, he worked in manufacturing, construction, and sales. He recently returned to school to complete his coursework to become an Electrical Engineer, later learning that he was following the footsteps of his paternal grandfather.

Jason is survived by his parents Russell and Cindy Doyl of Spokane and his sister Alicia. He also leaves his maternal grandparents, Lee Pritchard and Betty Pridham; and his paternal grandmother, Marjorie Doyl. He is also survived by his uncle Ronald Doyl, first cousins Joellen, Lauren, and Kelsey Doyl, and second cousins Diane and Janice Kelley. Along with his fiancé Heatherly Sullivan.

Memorial services will be held at Riplinger Funeral Home in Spokane on Monday, May 16 at 9:30am. The family asks that you consider making a donation to Dream Center of Spokane. To leave comments, condolences and view a slideshow of Jason’s life, please visit beautifultribute.com/jason-doyl.

Rest in peace sweet Jason. We loved you like you were one of our own. We watched you grow from a skinny teenager to a handsome kindhearted, loving young man. You left us all too soon. God must've needed you more than we all did. You will always be fondly and lovingly remembered. Until we meet again
