Dies Drear died on Thursday
He was born to the late August and Rachel Drear in Virginia. Dies has spent his whole life living in Virginia and he was an abolitionist who was devoted to helping slaves in the South escape to freedom in the Underground Railroad.
Dies was murdered in his house with two other African Americans. He was providing them with shelter to further their journey to freedom when sinister intruders came into his house and killed them all!
Dies Drear was a beloved friend, son, abolitionist, and hero. We will always remember him.
