The Story
Snoah Ellen Allday, of North Western Pennsylvania, passed away on January 4, 2016, at the age of 79 years, with her family by her side.
The daughter of the late Wade Perry Dennisson and Ruth Edith Dennisson, Snoah was born on October 14, 1936 in Zylks, Louisanna and was raised and educated in the Houston, Texas area.
Snoah was united in marriage to Carl W Allday on April 29, 1954 in Corpus Christi, Texas. To this union two children, Loretta and Allen, were born. Carl proceeded her in death on
September 19, 2003.
The family resided in California from 1955 until 1992, when they returned to the Cushing Oklahoma area following Carl's retirement from Safeway. Following the death of Carl, Snoah moved with her daughter and her family to Pennsylvania.
Snoah was a member of the Lutheran Church and she enjoyed such things as oil painting, sewing, bowling and gardening. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and grandbabies.
Survivors include her daughter, Loretta E Clifford and her husband James of North Western, Pennsylvania. Son, Allen K Allday and his wife, Stefanie of Tulsa, Oklahoma. One sister, Patricia H. McClain and her husband Bill of Cleveland, Texas. One sister in law Patricia Shields of Oregon. Grandchildren, Rachel E Clifford of North Western, Pennsylvania. Tanner J Clifford of North Western, Pennsylvania. Bradley J Clifford serving in the United States Navy stationed in San Diego, California. Brianna L Clifford of Burgettstown, Pennsylvania.
God-daughters, Colleen M Green-Dutter and her son James T Dutter of San Leandro, California and Kristi M Evans-Carter and her husband Charles and their children Cheyanne N Jones-Carter and Cali M Carter of Mounds, Oklahoma. Four nieces and nephews, fifteen great nieces and nephews and 30 great-great nieces and nephews and many other relatives.
In addition to her parents and husband, Snoah was preceded in death by one brother and one half sister.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Country Acres and Crawford County Hospice for their support in her final days.
