The Story
Adam R. Dalton, 21, of Princeton died February 21, 2015 as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident involving a drunk driver. He was born August 11, 1993 in Toronto, the son of John and Louise (Crater) Dalton. He attended Prine schools and graduated fromPrinceton High School in 2011, where he was a member of the student council and the basketball team. He was currently enrolled at NJIT majoring in computer science. Adam was a member of the Order of the Eagle of the Boy Scouts of America and had been a member of Troop 52. He achieved his Eagle rank upon completion of a project that restored several damaged headstones in the historic old Princeton Cemetery in 2009. He attended St. Augustine Parish in Kingston. Adam is survived by his parents John and Louise of Princeton; his brother Chad and his sister Karen, both at home. He also leaves his maternal grandparents, Harold and Gladys Dalton, also of Princeton; and his paternal grandparents, Philip and Betty Turner of Indianapolis. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Kristen Porter of East Brunswick and his close friends Jacob Hart of New Brunswick and Zachary Taylor of Princeton and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
