朱建雄弟兄于1965年3月8日出生于中国江苏省镇江市。2016年5月4日安息主怀，享年51岁。
出生于一个普通的市民家庭，朱建雄弟兄是家中次子，上有一位年长八岁的兄长。建雄6岁时，父亲因病去世，而母亲在外地工作，只有每周周未、周日一家才有团聚的机会。因此，建雄的童年和少年多是在叔祖母，兄长及姑母照料下度过。
朱建雄弟兄幼年天资聪颖，勤奋好学。1972年8月至1977年8月就读于镇江实验小学。完成小学学业后，于1977年9月至1980年8月就读于镇江第一中学。其间，家境困难的建雄刻苦学习，努力向上，用了仅仅三年的时间完成了五年的初，高中学业，并于1980年9月以优异的成绩考入中国著名高等学府中国科技大学少年班，就读于通讯工程专业。1985年8月大学毕业后，又于1985年9月顺利考入上海交通大学，攻读通讯工程专业硕士研究生。1986年10月，品学兼优的建雄学业更进一层，获得赴美攻读博士学位的机会。
在此后五年多的留美学习期间，朱建雄弟兄努力克服语言，环境，学业，生活等许多方面的重重困难，先后于1991年12月和1992年5月在纽约州著名的雪城大学（Syracuse University）获得计算机工程硕士学位和电子工程博士学位。完成学业之后，朱建雄弟兄先后就职于美国电报电话公司（ATT）,朗讯科技公司（Lucent Technologies），迅桐网络公司（Sycamore Networks），Affirmed Networks，从事电信设备研发工作达二十四年之久，在博学的专业知识之上积累了丰富而精深的工程开发技能。
在美求学期间，朱建雄弟兄在学习专业知识之余，积极探索生命的意义，努力寻找人生的信仰，于1998年在罗威尔华人圣经
教会接受洗礼成为基督徒，并在之后的生活中身体力行，用自己日常的生活见证神的圣洁和神的爱。
朱建雄弟兄于1990年和陈雯女士喜结连理，成立了一个美满的家庭，并养育了两个优秀的儿子，长子朱清夏，年16岁，就读于WESTFORD高中，次子朱清晨，年14岁，就读于WESTFORD石溪中学。
朱建雄弟兄生前，生活中性情温柔，为人豁达，举止儒雅，品格诚实，是难得的良朋益友。工作中经验丰富，才智敏睿，勤奋努力，不畏艰难，是不可或缺的技术人才。家庭里为夫恩爱，为父慈祥，辛勤劳作，持俭爱家，是众人羡慕的榜样。教会里谦逊忍让，追求圣洁，热心事奉，荣神益人，是一个真正实践信仰的基督徒。
朱建雄弟兄生前喜爱沐浴阳光，与朋友相聚，爱好观看各类球赛，并游泳，跑步，摄影等活动，是个热爱生活的人。
如今，朱建雄弟兄安息于天国，主耶稣基督的怀中。
